Definition of Terms:
Proofreading: Your document is reviewed for spelling, grammar, punctuation, capitalization, and typographical errors. In essence, proofreading is checking proofs of formatted, edited material for adherence to design and for minor, mechanical errors in copy (such as spelling mistakes or small deviations from a style sheet).
Copy Editing: Your document is reviewed for the above but may also include suggestions for word choice, verb tense, eliminating jargon, sentence and paragraph structure, and sentence clarity.
Structural Editing: Your document is reviewed for the above but also may include suggestions related to overall structure, fluidity, and coherence.
